A Celebration of Live Chamber Music

The Eastern Shore Chamber Music Festival (ESCMF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the Eastern Shore community by presenting exciting live chamber music events that are free of charge. ESCMF is committed to bringing educational, accessible, and entertaining cultural experiences to the Eastern Shore of the Mobile Bay through thoughtfully curated, high-level performances that pair classical and contemporary chamber music.

As musical educators, ESCMF’s mission is to provide essential and invaluable music experiences for young, aspiring musicians along the Gulf Coast. During the 2024-25 Season, ESCMF was a featured performing organization on the Rural Outreach Initiative through the Eastern Shore Arts Center. Additionally, ESCMF partnered with organizations like the Fairhope Public Library, Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra Education, and Eastern Shore Strings, producing educational experiences for student classical musicians.

ESCMF summer season concerts are free of charge. ESCMF is dedicated to fostering access to classical music to people of all income levels and cultural backgrounds and seeks to normalize classical chamber performance as an integral piece of our cultural identity.

ESCMF was founded in 2022 by Fairhopian and violinist Sahada Buckley and her husband, cellist Trace Johnson. As Artistic Directors, Sahada and Trace invite top professional musicians to ESCMF to perform during the three-week-long summer festival.
